Nashville & the Carter Brothers

Hi, We spent a great day in Chattanooga. Took a ride on the Southern Belle Riverboat down the Tenn. river. Arrived in Nashville on Tuesday and walked around the Opry Mills Mall and the Opryland Hotel. Unbelievable. It has 3 huge Atrium, with beautiful gardens, cascades and a riverboat. We went to the Grand Ole Opry and saw about 15 performers. The only one we knew was Montgomery Gentry but we had a great time. One guy named Little Jimmie Dickens started performing at the Opry in 1938 and at the age of 88, he is still singing, making jokes and having a great time.
Visited the Carter Brothers at their home in Ridgetop. They built a recording studio attached to their home last year and we were lucky to sit in on a jam session with two guys and the boys. They are all performing together at a music festival tomorrow in Wartrace, TN. It was great seeing the guys. Timmy and Danny played Chronicle for me! They will be at the Hog's Breathe starting monday. Sorry I missed you Ross. Going into old Nashville today. Take care. Love Gail
